The collection of personal information depends upon the kind of services/legal advice/ representation required in your matter. Therefore, depending upon interaction/relationship with MND Lawyers we may ask for personal information including names, contact details, address, feedback, resume and cover letters, file numbers, visa status or any other information as required by law from time to time. We only collect sensitive information including but not limited to political, religious association, memberships, sexual and criminal history only for providing services necessary for your matter. If you decide not to provide the information required by MND Lawyers, then we may not be able to provide you with effective and relevant legal services.
2. Use and disclosure of personal information-The use of personal information is for providing legal services, advice and communicating with the users and/or recipients of services from MND Lawyers. We may disclose your personal information to other professionals including Barrister or subject matter experts, in relevant field, as required for providing legal services to you. We may also use and disclose your personal information as required by law and/or under directives from the court of law.
3. Method of collection- At MND Lawyers we may ask for collection of personal information by the following methods including by email (electronic information), fax, telephone, hard copy and publically available registers.
4. Access and Correction- You may contact us to correct any information about you. Depending upon the correction required, we may have to ask you to provide necessary evidence or documentation before this change may be effected. If the change is acceptable, after you provide relevant evidence, then we endeavour to correct it within reasonable time.
5. Storage and Security of information – We store information including in hard and/or soft versions on our computers and storage facilities. We destroy any information (under the relevant law) which is not required for the purpose we offer services to you. We keep your information under lock and key and our computers are password protected.
